Try looking at Aromat.

The P5 series with 40 pins is 6.8mm (pad end to pad end) by 13.20mm

 NARROW PITCH (0.5mm) CONNECTORS P5 SERIES P5K, P5KS

 NARROW PITCH (0.5mm) CONNECTORS P5 SERIES P5KF
