From the manual:
"PARASITIC PARAMETERS employs a boundary integral equation method
based on Green's functions for the capacitance calculation."
"PARASITIC PARAMETERS provides both of the TEM mode inductance and
the frequency-dependent inductance ... for a 2-D transmission line system."
In reading the manual, PNC uses a filaments approach to develop the
Partial Equivalent circuit for traces and a cells approach for planes.
"PARASITIC PARAMETERS automatically generates a non-uniform
filament mesh across the conductor cross-section by varying the size
of the filament cross-section."
