it's some time ago that the extraction of impedance profiles
from TDR measurements was discussed and several references in
literature were given. If somebody is still interested:
I implemented one of these algorithms in Matlab code and it's
downloadable from my web page given below. At our institute
we use it for parameter extraction from FDTD simulation results
of interconnects.
