Ray,

just a thought... In the old days we had to test an aircraft for lightning. To
do this we made the aircraft the centre conductor of a co-ax line and used a
wire grid to try to keep the Zo constant. We then pulsed the line to induce
currents on the AC skin. We moved the attachment point to simulate different
strike locations.

I'm just wondering if you could make your board part of a very small strip-
line, you could orientate it to cause currents to flow across the board in the
manner you choose.
