I am seeking help in creating/using models for oscilliscopes
and their probes that can be added to our signal integrity
simulator as a "virtual" instrument.
SPICE models, behavioral models, or textbook references or
any other advice you can offer will be appreciated. I want
to model the probe loading, ground lead inductance and coupling,
measurement system bandwidth and any other relevant
instrumentation issues involved with measuring digital
signals with clock speeds up to 1 GHz and edge rates well
below a nanosecond.
I am already aware of Tektronix's excellent web-based
application note, but I need much more.
