POSITION TITLE: MTS 2/Packaging Engineer (3 positions)
JOB DESCRIPTION: Positions will be responsible for product design;
electrical (low frequency through microwave), mechanical and optical
simulation and testing; electrochemistry (etching and plating); and
process
development (vacuum metalization,photolithography, wet/dry etching, etc.)
with the Advanced Interconnect and Packaging Program.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Successful candidates will have a BS,
MS
or PhD in Electrical, Chemical or Materials Engineering, Physics or
Chemistry (Masters or PhD preferred) plus 2-5 years of experience in
microelectronic development or research related to high speed/density
interconnection and packaging.
