Hans,

There are a couple of books that you can make use of for reference
materials. One is called Printed Circuit Boards Design Techniques by Mark
Montrose. The other book is by Howard Johnson for High Speed Digital
Design("Black Magic"). Both books are worth looking into. There are
equations referenced in those books which may be of use to you. Hope this
