Actually, some of the INTEL cartridge models I have seen do include
coupling in a rather clever way, they have different interconnect models
for EVEN and ODD mode worst case switching. Now, this doesn't help with
crosstalk but it does a pretty good job of modeling signal delay changes
due to worst case switching patterns (which I think was Intel's primary
concern).
