When I responded earlier Imentioned that I had run into this problem. The vendor
was Xynetix.
If:
a) SI simulation is done early in the process when design decisions are still
possible
b) And there are competing parts with models that appear to work
Then, our engineers pretty much avoid the suppliers who can't seem to get their
act together about supplying usable models. Call it risk avoidance.
Also, they have long memories.
