Sun Microsystems has an opening for a Manager of the Systems Design
Engineering group within Power Workstations. You should have
management experience of a group of 10-20 including experience as a
second level manager. The group is a responsible for system design
activities associated with bringing a new computer workstation to
market. Candidate must be familiar with high density, high speed
printed circuit board design including logic design, component and
vendor selection, signal integrity, RFI containment.
Candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership,
scheduling, budgeting, status reporting, tool strategizing. Within
this department will be a lab services organization responsible for
lab networking support, capital equipment planning and appropriating
and lab technician support.
You should have 10+ years industry experience with an EE background
specializing in Signal Integrity. Your background should be strong in
the management, signal integrity, board design, logic design and
design validation areas.
