LSI Logic is recruiting for a signal integrity engineer with good
industry experience. This is an exciting opportunity to provide
technical leadership to both internal and external customers of LSI
Logic in the area of multi-gigabit per second serial interfaces.

To support the development and use of multi-gigabit per second
high-speed serial interface cores. Responsibilities include defining
next generation products, developing reference systems, evaluating
functional and electrical characteristics, participating in standards
committees, and assisting customers with signal integrity analysis.

BS in EE (MS preferred)
Strong understanding of transmission line fundamentals
Hands on experience with high speed system interconnect evaluation
Familiarity with high speed serial transmission standards is a plus
(Fibre Channel, Gigabit Ethernet, InfiniBand, Serial ATA)
Experience/familiarity with mixed signal design is a plus
Other pluses: HSPICE, signal integrity tool experience, automated lab
experience (e.g., LabView)
