Hi,
We have a testing board of Philips USB2.0 running at 480Mhz with a USB upstream connector connected to the output differential pair, we need to connect a usb downstream connector on the same differential pair. What i need to know is that if i connect both connector in parrallel what will happen, will it work or do i need to add some terminations, etc?? differential pair has to maintain a defferential Xtic impedance of 90ohm, Board is a four layer board, differential pair is routed on the top layer and upstream connecter is also located at the top, we intend to connect the downstream connector on the bottom side of the board right beneath the upstream connector. Moreover can anyone briefly describe the construction of usb hubs.
        Thanx
