You might look for a cable called 'Sucoflex'. It is roughly RG142 sized
but will carry frequencies up to 20GHz with minimal attenuation & is
available with SMA connectors. Most importantly, the shield will not
break on the fifth use - it's very durable. I have personally used one
cable daily for WELL over 6 months with no problems(maybe a year?) - we
recalibrated it at least every month with virtually no degradation. Be
warned though - it's pricey. (well worth it in my book - nothing more
frustrating than an inconsistent cable)
