Officer Elections for 2012
The
Officers for coming year were elected at the Meeting and Christmas Dinner
held at Smokin' in Style BBQ on Dec. 9th, 2011.
* Continuing in his 15th
term as President is Bob King (W5LVB).
* Phil Gladden (WA5VRQ) to serve as Vice-President.
* And continuing as Secretary / Treasurer is Bob Planje (KC5MYL).
Meeting Night
The Spa Amateur Radio Association,
Inc. meets on the 1st Tuesday of each
month, 7 p.m.,
HSFD Central Station on Broadway Av. in Hot Springs.
** Meetings for JAN, JUL, SEPT are generally postponed because
of Holidays and DEC is our dinner meeting. Watch this
site for variations on this schedule.
Tower
All of the amateur equipment (146.880, 444.600, SPA Packet,
SPA50 Packet, APRS) are operational on the City/County tower. The
146.880 and 444.600 antennas have 'top'
billing at 210' and the Packet antennas are both
at 150'. Our THANKS to CoHS and GC for recognizing the
importance of Amateur Radio in our community.
