Schematic included in manual does not match amplifier. Use redrawn schematic below. Component values on redrawn schematic have been corrected to actual values used in amplifier. Final transistor is a Motorola MRF245. See Motorola Application Note AN791.

Modifications

• Replace Molex power jack with PowerPoles
• Remove fuse and block -- use inline fuse in new power cable
• Remove mode switch -- leave amp biased for SSB mode
• Add surge absorber across relay
• Adapt RF sense circuit to key on DC voltage at RF input jack
