I am located in Florence, AL. which is on the Tennessee River in northwest Alabama. It is one of the four cities that makes up the Muscle Shoals Area. I have been an amateur radio operator since the early 1970's, either 1972 or 1973, I forget which. I got my ticket while attending college at the University of North Alabama in Florence, Alabama. ARRL Member As you can see from my HF rig, my favorite band when open is 10 meters. You can also find me on 40 and 75 meters.
