I
have enjoyed contesting ever since my first contest - the
1976 September ARRL VHF 'test. I operated 2m SSB in that contest and as I
recall, I did OK - not competitive by any strech of the
imagination with just 10w and an 8 element beam! Since then I
have operated in dozens of VHF/UHF contests and dozens of HF 'tests as
well.
