Welcome to the Great River Amateur Radio Club's site.

The club is located in Dubuque Iowa, on the banks of the Mississippi River.We are active in the American Red Cross and various community events.

Our meetings are the first Monday of every month at the Red Cross Center, 2400 Asbury Road, Dubuque,Iowa,begining at 7pm. All interested parties are welcome.

Every Saturday we have an informal breakfast begining at 8:30 am. at the Sunshine Family Restaurant on the corner of 4th and Central Ave.(the old Sfikas)

G.R.A.R.C. is associated with the American Radio Relay League.We have been a League member since the club was founded in 1972.ARRL

The club has a two meter repeater on 147.84/147.24 mhz. This machine is equiped with an open autopatch for local and emergency calls.Repeater Instructions

We also participate in Field Day every June. We locate at the American Red Cross building on the front lawn.

Membership is open to all who are interested in Amateur Radio, as we do run classes and sponser testing several times a year.Test Schedule
