Dentron GLA-1000B - 10 meter modification such as I have it
INPUT PASSBAND FILTER
This information was hand written into the parts list of my GLA-1000B manual,and as the question comes up from
time to time, I'll share what I have here. Also, this is only whatI found in my manual, NOT verified by inspection of
the amplifier.
L7 (input section coil) - 5 turns 18 guage solidon T50-6 (yellow) Amidon core - ~ 0.1 uH,
C35 (input section, towards driver input) - 150pF 500V capacitor,
C36 (input section, towards tube cathodes) - 36pF 500V capacitor,
These three parts should be fit on the input sectionPC board.
The other capacitors were silver mica, so I'd usethose here if you can.INPUT STOP FILTER REMOVAL AND OUTPUT TANK CIRCUIT TAP/SWITCH
This file containsthree pages found in my GLA-1000 (not B) manual copy which applies to theoutput section. It tells
you here to bypass FL-1 (an extra input filter that further disabled10M), and change the bandswitch to permit rotation to
the 10M section.This is a ZIP file which contains three TIFF 5.0 formatfiles. Unzip it and use an image editor or powerpoint
to load and print the individual .TIF files. I suspect this informationapplies adequately to the GLA-1000B but I cannot
guarantee that, so it's at your own risk.
