2001 CQ/NRJ World Wide RTTY Contest
WA9ALS (Multi-Two)
| This was my first time networking Writelog, first time
operating in a networked RTTY operation, and first time hosting a guest op - all fantastic FUN! I had to post these photos after seeing Bob's, Raj's, and Carol's photos at http://www.geocities.com/ki6dy/CQWW_RTTY_2001.html. Although we didn't think to proudly photo the garbage can like they did, ours would've competed favorably! |

| L-R, WA9ALS (John), KB9YTW (Wes), and WD9GMK
(Alan). John is operating the A station. Wes is waiting his turn on station B and watching the bandmap for mults. Alan is operating the B station. The A station computer had 2 monitors for extra real estate. You can see the secondary monitor to my left with 4 or 5 bandmaps open for a "View of the Contest". We used Writelog in networked configuration - It was really fun! |

That's apple cider in the jug - wonder how long it's been sitting there? |

| This is KB9YTW sacked out in the shack near
the radios for the night with man's best friend! Snick is not usually allowed in the house much, but this was a special weekend, and I think he liked the diddles! (At least he didn't howl.) |
