At HOME (QTH Vancouver, WA)

Normally I monitor 6M SSB and one or more of the following frequencies.

On weekends I dabble in Digital and ATV modes as well as various HF & VHF band openings.

While MOBILE

I'm normally using a 3 Band HT with a mag mount antenna. I monitor K7RPT repeater on 147.040. Simultateously, while in Vancouver I also monitor W7AIA repeater on 224.360 or while in Portland the KB7APU repeater on 224.760. I usually don't operate 70cm FM while mobile. Currnetly I am building a new antenna mount for my truck that will allow the installation of FM and SSB antennas. Hopefully it will also allow the use of small yagi antennas during contesting.

When PORTABLE (QRP Pacific NW)

Portable operations vary quite a bit depending on what equipment is used (Dah). However, most of the time I'm QRP on 40M, 20M, 6M and 2M SSB. Currently I try to operate some form of portable operation once a month.

When doing DIGITAL

Digital operations are primarily PSK on 20M, 6M and 2M. I do work WSJT, RTTY and SSTV as well. On Sundays, I host Sunday Night Digital (SND). Any other times are by schedule or prior arrangement.

Frequent NETS

I am a regular on the local Monday night 6M and 2M SSB nets. There are other nets that I participate in, both HF and VHF, but attendace is sporadic.
