Los Angeles, CA 90064

The Westside Amateur Radio Club has been serving the needs of Amateur Radio Operators in the West Los Angeles, California area and vicinity since 1987 and has been acclaimed by the ARRL, local newspapers, and civic officials for its dedication to providing emergency communication services and for its fight against restrictive antenna ordinances. Our Speaker Program, Educational Workshops, and Elmer's Assistance are among the very best.

The  weekly club nets are held on Wednesday at 8:00 pm (local) on 447.320 (-) MHz PL 103.5, and on Thursday  in conjunction with the LAERA net at 7:30 pm (local) on 449.700 (-) MHz PL 131.8 on the W6NVY repeater, Mt. Wilson.

Club meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 7:30 pm. We meet at the West Los Angeles Red Cross building located to the left, as you enter the Veterans Administration property when driving north on Sawtelle Blvd., after having just crossed Ohio Ave. Guests are cordially welcomed.

You are invited to join us at our monthly club breakfast held at 8:00-9:30 AM the first Saturday of the month at Coogie’s Cafe Santa Monica, 2906 Santa Monica Blvd., Santa Monica.

We encourage you to join our ranks. A membership application form is available that you can print directly from your browser.  Click for Membership Application
