A local Private Parochial High School had a Fund Raiser recently to benefit both the Theatre Department and Scholarships. My wife is currently the president of the Alumni Association and as such has a seat on the the school's Board of Directors. Both of my children are also alumni.

Plans for the evening included a dinner, performances of Show Tunes by very talented Alumni and students, an auction, and chances on a 1 caret diamond.  I was asked to provide comic relief by perfoming a lip sync of Marilyn Monroe singing Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend. The rest is history.

Some of my co-workers found about the upcoming event and dared me to model the outfit at work. I agreed to do so after obtaining additional donations to the
Theatre Dept.

The event raised over $27,000 for the school.
