Bearing and Distance  Calculator
By W5UHQ

Compute true bearing and distance from your QTH ( Lon2/Lat2) to my QTH (Lon1/Lat 1 or between any two points  not near the poles for that matter). If you do not know your location, try http://www.qrz.com and look under "Detailed Info"

Enter lat/lon of points, select distance units and earth model and click "compute". Lat/lons may be entered in DD.DD, DD:MM.MM or DD:MM:SS.SS formats.

I find this applet useful for alignment of VHF/UHF rotors etc. Pick a landmark station at least 5 miles away and determine your rotor offset.
