A Wonderful Place to Find Solitude
The bay and the Sound are Both Virtually Empty After Labor Day
At Times You can Catch Some Striped Bass Here, off the Beach
If you are not comfortable paddling in the open Sound, there is enough to keep you busy for
the day within the quiet waters of the bay. Much of the time can be spent exploring or fishing.
Or if you wish, just sit on the sand and relax. Bernie and I find it a great place to practice for
our future retirement, and we are getting to be real good at it.
