A peek at the HeathKit Green (and BAs)

I started out with my first Heath station in 1966 - an early SB-100 transceiver.  There's nothing like warm glow of those tubes while operating those evening hours.

Here is the beginning of the Heath station collection a few months ago.  With an SB101 in the center and some of its cousins, it's the start.  An SB100 is on the bench under reconstruction and soon the entire SB line will be a fully working station.  It's time to get these things organized a bit !

Special thanks to GARY, K5JWK for all the proof-reading and help in aquisitions!

The collection expands and finds a new set of shelves....

Some of the mostly Philco's that have caught my eye.  Some still in the restoration stage.
Top, Philco cathedral 60, 20, 50 and an Atwater Kent tombstone.

Then the Heath shelves... top - SB-401, 620 (with 650 on top), 610, 630, HM/HD 15.
     bottom: SB-600 / SB-303 / SB-101 / SB-200

Finally a few real BA's with my original Ranger I (always fully operational), SX-100, SB-100
Hallicrafters S-20R, Johnson Navigator and an old  Grebe Synchrophase (cool).

Other than homebrew rigs, this was my first transmitter: Johnson Viking Ranger

I spent a lot of hours running this guy, both CW and Phone... sort of deserves
its own web page one of these first days!

Now I need more shelves and more space as the workbench is also full.
