Meeting at First St. Bar and Grill at Utica, NE. 9 members present, guest Chuck Byers KD0PTH and Levi Peters WA0RFT.
Martin called meeting to order, minutes read and approved. No Treasurer's report. Gloria commented that Club generators are on order.
Martin got the duplexer from Eric Weber and has it tuned up for the repeater. Tom reported that the radio in the Seward Hospital is in basement and working good there was discussion on this. Martin reported they put up antenna on the 911 tower at the Sheriff's office in Seward. Break room to the south will be where the radio will be located. ID cards will be needed to get in the office.
Mark reported he would be Field Day coordinator for 2012. Bob made motion to keep Martin for President for 2012. Ted seconded. Carried. Bob made motion to keep Rod as Vice President for 2012. Mark seconded. Carried. Rod made motion to keep Gloria for Treasurer for 2012. Bob seconded. Carried. Bev asked to be relieved of her Secretary position. Mark made a motion to make Gloria Secretary for 2012. Ted seconded. Carried.
January 10th will work with First Street Bar and Grill for our Christmas party. Let John know how many before the 10th, 6:00 social hour, 6:30 meal. Mark made a motion to have Christmas party on January 10, 2012. Rod seconded. Carried No club meeting in December.
Discussion was held on when a disaster happens, how we can control our club members as to where to go. Tom suggested we have a meeting in Seward sometime and go thru Hospital and 911 centers at Sheriff's office to see where things are located. Martin suggested we have classes in York and Seward counties for emergencies. Mark suggested we get in touch with Art Zygielbaum ARRL NE Section Manager, for help.
