BVARC Minutes Saturday October 23, 2010 at 1st Street Bar & Grill in Utica, NE at 2:00 P.M. The meeting was called to order by Martin AC0OM with 11 members and 1 guest present.
Martin AC0OM talked about a City of York council meeting to be held on Thurs. Nov. 4 at 7:00P.M. at the City Office, if we would like to attend, concerning our 440 repeater on the City's tower.
Vern N0ZRV said he needed help calling the Sunday night net at 9:00 P.M. Bob KD0XB said he would call net on Oct. 24th. Someone asked about having a Wednesday night net again at 8:00 P.M. We decided to see how many showed up.
Mark WD0AAH asked if we couldn't have a repeater link between Seward & Lincoln. Maybe contact Harry Fuller KB0NVA, and see if he would want to put a repeater at his farm east of Seward.
Discussion of Public Service ARES vests - can get them at Wal-Mart and Mark knows someone who could put lettering on them and Club Jackets.
Mark WD0AAH made a motion to amend the Club's By-Laws to have the fiscal year starting Jan. 1 and Dues of $10.00 will be due Jan. 1 and delinquent on Jan. 31. Jim WD0PKY seconded (Carried).
