Blue Valley Amateur Radio Club met on March 27, 2010 at the 1st Street Bar & Grill in Utica, NE at 2:00 P. M.The meeting was called to order by President, Martin Workman AC0OM, with 17 members and 3 guests present.
Minutes of the last meeting were read with one correction and then approved. Dustin Curtis KD0KXF is to be added to the list of students taking classes.
The secretary was asked to send back the ARRL affiliation papers. The club was formed in 1957 and we are current with incorporation.
Bob Naber KD0XB suggested we send members meeting notices on E-Mail and also Activity Notices.
Field Day will be held on June 26 and 27. Mark WD0AAH has the Club antenna and towers in his garage. Field Day will be held at Mark's QTH by Surprise, NE
Mark made a motion to have Bill Lundy and someone from 4 Corners at our next meeting. Find out when Bill can come & E-Mail members if the day of meeting will be different.We need to find out how best to serve the area with radios in the area Hospitals. Seconded by Jim WB0PKY (carried)
Motion made and seconded to have Jim look into the club being a non-profit organization. (carried)
