OTTUMWA AMATEUR RADIO CLUB

Ottumwa Amateur Radio Club was organized in 1948.  OARC meets at 7:00 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month, September through June, at Ottumwa High School's Vo-Tech Annex.  OARC members pursue a variety of ham radio interests including DX, contesting, traffic handling, and VHF/UHF operations.  The club publishes a newsletter for members.

OARC regularly conducts VE Amateur Radio examinations, and provides communications support for the annual Ottumwa Oktoberfest Parade.
