ARTICLE V DUTIES OF THE OFFICERS

ARTICLE VII DUES AND ASSESSMENTS
(OLD)B. Special assessments:
1. The Starved rock Radio Club, may, by a vote of the membership, be empowered to levy on the
entire regular membership, such assessments as shall be deemed necessary for the business of the
organization within it's object as set forth in the Preamble of this Constitution. Voting shall require
two-thirds (2/3) majority of the members voting in a regular meeting to carry.

entire regular membership, such assessments as shall be deemed necessary to carry on the
business of the organization or to meet its objectives as set forth in this Constitution. All
assessments shall be limited to a maximum of the yearly single individual member dues per
assessment and will not apply to family members. Voting shall require two-thirds (2/3) majority of the
members voting in a regular meeting to carry.

ARTICLE IV ELECTION OF OFFICERS
A. The officers shall be nominated ((( or self nominated ))) at the regular
meeting in November, and elections shall take place at the regular meeting
in December. Members may be nominated for (((multiple offices. Once elected
to an office the member is not eligible for further offices or the board of
directors)))[[[ to hold only one office]]]. Each nominated member must be
present at the November meeting ((( or have informed an officer of their
desire to be nominated for an office. All nominees must have been a member
of the club for at least one year ))).

made. If the only nominee for an office is removed, for any reason, then a
write-in candidate is allowed for that office. )))

1. Officers elected at the December meeting shall take office on January 1
