AUGUST MEETING ACTIONS

The addition of our UHF antenna was approved by a committee of the  County
Board, but it must still be approved by the full County Board.  Everything
else is ready and the remote receive site at Leonore should start working as
soon as this antenna is up and working.  (Well,it might take some
adjustments to make it work right.)

There will be a dinner for Club Members and others on August 28th.  There
will be a charge of $9.00 per person.   N9PLJ has more info.

TOLUCA REPEATER NEWS  A group of local hams met recently with Jeff, KA9IHD
who is the owner and former operator of the Toluca repeater.  Paul, KA9VAU
has agreed to be the contact person for the group.  If any of you are really
interested in seeing this repeater stay working, and work as well as it can,
your donations will be welcomed.
