General meetings are held on the second Friday of the month, and Board meetings are head on the Monday that precedes the general meeting.

Monday April 7th, 7:30 PM - Board meeting

First Friday General Meeting, Friday March 11th, 7:30 PM at the Elgin Police Building.

Monday May 5th, 7:30 PM - Board meeting

Friday May 9th, 7:30 PM - General Meeting at the Elgin Police Building.

FOX TROT - Monday May 26th. We traditionally operate a special events station from Trout Park. Come on out and get on the air.

Monday June 9th, 7:30 PM - Board Meeting

Friday June 13th, 7:30 PM - General Meeting at the Elgin Police Building - This meeting will be devoted to final Field Day planning.

Field Day 2003 - Saturday June 28th through Sunday June 29th! In 2002 we operated 2A from the Burnage Woods Forest Preserve.

Friday Dec 12th, 7:30 PM - General Meeting at the Elgin Police Building. This will be our holiday party. There will be no program other than a time of fun and fellowship. Come and visit with us. Bring a snack to pass.

Past events that occurred during 2003:

EARS Winter Dinner was held on February 7th at the Gasthaus Zur Linde in Elgin.

EARS General Meeting, Monday February 10th at 7:30 PM, held at the Elgin Police Building. We had a presentation about TOP OFF. TOP OFF is an international level emergency response exercise that will occur in mid-May 2003. We saw a video and discussed how amateur radio operators can support both the exercise and other potential emergencies.

Monday March 3rd, 7:30 PM - Board meeting

Last Monday General Meeting, Monday March 10th, 7:30 PM at the Elgin Police Building. We watched a video tape about an SAREX mission.

EARS AUCTION, Friday March 14th at 7:30 PM, held at the home of WB9RFP -
Tom SCHWAR, located at 101 CRABTREE RD, EAST DUNDEE IL 60118-1010. We sold several items at the auction and raised a modest sum for the club.
