BLOOMINGTON EXAM DATES
Following is the schedule for W5YI-VEC Amateur Radio exams for the year

Registration starts from 12:30 to 1:00 then testing begins at 1:00 until applicants are completed with any tests they may be taking at this session.
Current filing fee is $14.

Please have your Social Security #, 2 forms of identification with photo (Driver's license, student ID, etc.) and something with your mailing address on it. If you are upgrading, bring the original and 1 copy of your license (even if it's expired).

There are currently 4 exams given:
Written exams, (1) each for Technician, General and Extra License Classes;
- and -
(1) 5 WPM Morse Code test.
Additional tests can be taken in the same testing session as long as all have been successfully passed prior to taking the next level exam. These will be honored under 1 filing fee.
If you fail an exam and wish to take it again, it is considered a new filing and another fee must be paid. You will then be issued a different exam of the same license class level.

All successful persons passing an exam will get a CSCE Certificate of Successful Completion Exam document for that license class. The VEC will file your exams and you can begin checking the FCC database for issuances. You will be receive your license by mail.
Keep a copy in a safe place & hang it proudly - you earned it!
