REPEATER USER

Updated June 6, 2006

We made a change to the repeater that will allow you to determine (by the reset beep) which receiver you are getting
into on the repeater.

N9CX has designed a microcontroller circuit that should allow this to be done reliably.

There will be four different reset beeps as follows:

1. High frequency (1200 Hz) CW "M" indicates the last transmission was in the Main receiver at least
88% of the time.

2. High frequency (1200 Hz) CW "R" indicates the last transmission was in the Remote receiver at least
88% of the time.

3. Low frequency (500 Hz) CW "M" indicates the last transmission was in the Main receiver a majority
(but less than 88%) of the time.

4. Low frequency (500 Hz) CW "R" indicates the last transmission was in the Remote receiver a majority
(but less than 88%) of the time.
