The Mahoning Valley Amateur Radio Association was founded in 1919, making it one of the oldest amateur radio clubs in the world. We are an ARRL affiliated club as well as an ARRL Special Services Club. We meet on the second Thursday of every month at the Youngstown Public Library in downtown Youngstown. The meeting start at 7:00 pm, with a meet and greet starting at 6:30 pm. You do not have to be a licensed operator to attend our meetings.

Field day is June 22-23. We had a great turnout last year, and we want to make 2013 even more successful than 2012. If you have not responded to Frank's, WB8YHD, email, then please do so as quickly as possible. Also if you are not able to operate at Field Day please consider helping with setup and teardown. In addition any food donations, whether your are going to operate or not, would be greatly appreciated.
