The Stu Rockafellow Amateur Radio Society was founded in 1960 and has been affiliated with the ARRL for 45 years. We have monthly meetings, except
in July and August, where members can chat over coffee and a donut while conducting a sometimes short business meeting. We are also trying to do
discussions in our meetings about radio, if you have any ideas E-Mail W8RIF.
The club also meets for breakfast at Senate Coney Island 39430 Dun Rovin Dr. Northville, MI it is off Haggerty between 5 and 6 Mile on the west side of the road. There is a light at that intersection.
The restaurant sits up on a hill. The breakfast is at 9:00 a.m. every Saturday..
Our club's interests and activities are wide and varied; they include, but are not limited to,
Field Day participation, Special Events Stations, Moon Bounce efforts, Project Days, Fox Hunts, Halloween Patrols and Public Service Events. We
have training classes to help first time amateurs to get their license and others up-grade. Classes are offered for theory and code.
