The Lowell Amateur
Radio Club meets on the Second Saturday
of the month (for exact meeting dates,
checkout our 2008 minutes page)
at our SHACK. It is located
at 11535 E. Fulton - Lowell. It is just east of the Key
Heights Mobile Home Park on the north side of the road,
or just west of Lowell Lanes (Bowling Alley), on the opposite
side of the road. There is a sign in front of the building
that reads 'Flat River Outreach Ministries'. Park on the
west side of the building and enter at the southwest corner
of the building.

The Transmitter Site is about
5 miles north of the City of Lowell at 2900 Lincoln Lake
Ave NE, between Three and Four Mile Rd on the East side
of Lincoln Lake Rd.
Interested
in becoming a member? Just come to a second
Saturday morning meeting of each month, and our Treasurer Jean Carlson K0ZRD will be glad to receive your $20
and sign you up. Memberships, help cover operating and
maintenance expenses of our repeater, plus three receive
links, and various LARC projects. While our repeater is
open with an open autopatch we need your financial support.

Helps offset our operating costs.

DAPR,
the Downtown Amateur Packet Radio Group of
Grand Rapids, meets for breakfast the first Saturday
after the first Friday of each month, at 8AM.

Beginnings Restaurant, 1455 Michigan St
NE. Use the Fuller exit (turn south) off of
I-196 then go east on Michigan. "Talk-in" is on
146.760-(94.8Hz). Anyone interested in digital

West
Michigan Traffic Net meets Sundays,
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Friday nights at 9pm on
147.16+(94.8Hz),and Backup on
the 145.270 - 94.8PL. The purpose of this net is to
handle NTS Traffic coming into West Michigan. All are
welcome to check in. We also are an inlet for outgoing
traffic as well.
The
other net is the informal 6mtr AM net that meets every
Sunday from 8-9am. This net
originates in Grand Rapids.
The
Michigan DX Association (MDXA) 2 meter
net that is held every
Tuesday evening, 9PM, on the 145.270-(94.8Hz)
LARC/W8LRC repeater.

ham shack at the Red Cross building
is open for use Wednesdays 7:15PM to about 9 or
after. Be sure to have a copy of your license if
