The Midland Amateur Radio Club is pleased to announce that the date and location for the 37th Annual Midland Hamfest and Computer Show has been set. The Hamfest will take place on Saturday, June 18th, 2011, which is the weekend prior to Field Day. We'll be returning to the Midland Salvation Army building, 330 Waldo St, in Midland.

After the success of Bill Hays, AE4QL, seminar, "Standing Up for Standing Waves" last year, we'll be presenting a number of informal seminars on different aspects of amateur radio

Vendor set-up will at 6:30 a.m., with the show running from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Tables will be $5.00 each, same as last year. And of course, there will be an area for trunk sales.

There will be a VE session offering test for all levels of Amateur Radio licenses. Registration begins at 10:30 am, and testing will begin promptly at 11:30 am.
