My name is Scott and my call is W8CQD.  I'm an Amateur Extra class ham radio operator who enjoys working Phone and CW.  I typically operate phone, but am increasing my time on CW...  My rigs are a Kenwood TS-520S(old, but in excellent shape and a real workhorse) and an Elecraft K1(CW only, QRP for 40 & 20 Meters, check out the K1 Page for more info).  For more information on becoming an Amateur Radio operator, click on the link for the ARRL below.

In addition to Amateur Radio, I like to go Geocaching.  This is a high-tech treasure hunt of sorts using GPS.  Check out the links below for more info.

I also enjoy role playing games(GURPS is the system I'm currently playing from Steve Jackson Games) and Magic:The Gathering collectible card game(from Wizards of the Coast).
