2008 Field Day Operations

The 2008 Field Day has come to a close. Please take a look at our field day pictures below.

The GCRC 2008 Field Day Site

Driving Directions From Lapeer:
Take I-69 (or M-21) West to
Elba Road (exit 149)
Turn right (north) on Elba Road.
Travel north to Coldwater (7 miles from I-69 or 4 miles from M-21)
Turn Right (east) on Coldwater Rd until you reach a stop sign.
Turn left (north) on German Road.
Continue north past Stanley Road until road ends.
Turn left (west) at Mt Morris Road
After the passing Michael Drive, and 2 more large farms on the left,
start watching for our signs.
Our private driveway will be on your left.

Driving Directions From Flint:
Take I-69 East to M-15 (exit 145)
Turn left on M-15 (north)
Travel about 12 miles north on M-15
Turn Right (east) on E. Mt Morris Rd
Take E. Mt Morris Rd east to the end.
Turn right and proceed on the paved road.
After the wide turn toward the east,
    start watching for our signs.
Our private driveway will be on your right.

The 2008 Field Day Site was held at the same site as 2007.

  
 
With Great thanks to Al (KD8DEU) & Linda Van Brocklin, we will once again enjoy this great lake front property for Field Day in 2008.As you can see there are a couple picnic tables there already and a fire pit. There is a grate to place over the fire pit so you can cook, etc.
