Welcome to my Amateur Radio Home Page ! My name is Michael Vaia and my QTH is the Eastern Shore of Maryland , located about 65 miles North East of Washington DC.  The Old Call Sign was WB8VBW until the Vanity Call Sign Program changed it. I wanted  this call sign  many years ago as a kid when I first got on the air.   I would like to say hello to my old friends since I have been inactive for some time.   Im looking forward to getting active again on HF and on local repeaters.

Check out the construction project which will be my new ham shack.  I have also included some shots of the mobile where I do most of my operation.  I will also include some new QSL cards from time to time.
