Welcome to the Tri-Cities Amateur Radio Club web page.
This site is devoted to providing a forum for helping the club members, as well as anyone interested in amateur radio, receive the assistance needed to get the most enjoyment out of the many facets of amateur radio.

Club Meetings

The Tri-Cities Amateur Radio Club holds a regular meeting the first Monday of every month of the year. Each meeting includes an amateur-radio-oriented program that will be of interest to most hams.

Meeting Schedule:

The next meeting of the Tri Cities Amateur Radio Club will be held November 2nd at 7:30 PM

Regular Club and Business Meetings start at 7:30 pm and are held at the Red Cross Building, 7202 W Deschutes Ave, Kennewick. [ Map ] All individuals interested in amateur radio are welcome and invited to attend these meetings - you do not need to be an amateur radio operator!

Radio Scouting
  • All Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and young people interested in HAM radio and what it is all about.  All the fun things and emegergency usses for it. Get a start on erning the Radio Merit badge, the communications badge, Cub scout requirments for different badges.  Come join other youth and get a chance to talk to other scouts the world over.  Come to the 53rd year of the Jamboree on the air activies at the Benton/Franklin Red Cross building in Kennewick Sat. Oct. 17, 2009, 8 AM  to 4 PM  Come for a hour or stay all day.  See what Ham radio is all about.

  • ARES Net has moved to Tuesday nights at 7:00pm.

  • ARES NET Check into the Benton/Franklin ARES Weekly Net every Tuesday evening at 7:00pm. The net meets on the 146.760 MHz repeater. If the repeater is busy or down, our back-up repeater is the 146.640 machine. Both of these repeaters use a 100 Hz PL tone. A Net Preamble (DOC) and check-in log (XLS) are available for the net. Listing by month of ARES Net Control Operators (XLS).

TCHams Group

The TCHams discussion group is open to anyone interested in amateur radio in the Tri-City area. This is not just an announcement list, this is a discussion list where all members can discuss anything about amateur radio. Club Meeting Agendas, Schedules, Events and Minutes are posted regularly.
