My antenna system consist of a 3 element SteppIR with the 30/40 trombone and 6 meter passive options installed. The SteppIR is resting at 54 feet (16.5 meters). I also use a Zerofive 43 ft vertical that is ground mounted with (60) 43 ft. radials.
This is the beginning of a very fun and worthwhile project!
Now that the cement has been poured we needed to wait 30 days for it to cure!
So we started building the SteppIr and pulling all the wire and coax from the shack to the tower pad!
The day finally arrived! The tower is now up and the homebuilt raising fixture worked flawlessly!
Here is the 3 element (with 30/40 meter option) SteppIR at 54 feet, also on the tower is a Diamond
2 meter/70 cent vertical, a weather station by Zephyr Insturments, and my Go-Lite wireless spot light!
This antenna is excellent! It works the world!
