Basic Electronics Theory

A good source to gain a basic understanding of all areas of electronics is BASICS-1, where
you can choose a subject of interest or learn the concepts in sequence.

A few other sources for information on basic electronics are the following:
BASICS-2, BASICS-3, and BASIC-4. Any of these sources should be useful to learn basic electronics.

A good in-depth presentation of AC theory can be found at AC THEORY. Subjects covered
in this presentation include basic formulas, resonance, fields, impedance, resistance, reactance,
vectors, Q, and others. (No calculus required). Additional subjects covered in later presentations
available on this site include components and materials, inductors and transformers, impedance matching,
and radio frequency bridges.

Physics

A very good series of half-hour programs on physics is available on
the web at MECHANICAL UNIVERSE, where you can pick a subject of interest and view
or start from the first lesson and take them in order.

Another good source where you can choose a particular subject in the electronics area
is HYPERPHYSICS. This source is a good one for formulas and basic laws relating to electronics.

Watch your local CTV television channel for the GS104 series on physics. This is
a classroom presentation given by an excellent teacher who teaches the concepts of
physics and gives many examples in an easy to understand manner. This is a program
recommended for anyone who has very little knowledge of the field of physics.
