Good evening. This is (name, callsign), opening this session of the Salem Region 440 ERC (Emergency Response Communications) Net. All CTR and LDS operators as well as any other interested amateurs are welcome to participate in this net.

This net meets on Sunday evening at 8:00 PM local time on a frequency of 443.45 MHz, the CTR repeater. Our simplex mode is 147.56 MHz. This net will handle all traffic offered. This net will provide training in net procedures, traffic handling, and emergency service operation.

This is a directed net. To break the net please use your call. All stations checking into the net are requested to remain on frequency until the net is secured, or until excused by the net control station. This is(name, callsign), net control for this evening’s regional emergency response net.
