GSB-900DX
(AN/URC-92) I am preparing to move out of state and the moving company charges by the POUND!! Thus it is that I'm going to sell my Sunair gear. For Sale (or trade for something smaller like a Harris RF-590 receiver): GSB-900DX with controller for KW remote antenna coupler GSL-1900A Linear Amplifier, power supply GCU-1935 remote kilowatt antenna coupler 19" Equipment rack (desk height) with wood top All connectors and interconnect cables are included -- except I ony have the connectors that connect between the transceiver and the remote antenna coupler. The cable itself was left on the ship -- you'll have to provide your own cable. Oh, yes, I do have a complete set of manuals. Some original, some high quality photocopies. The copies even have the fold out diagrams properly copied on large paper so they fold out. SPARES: I have collected many spare circuit boards. Some are New Old Stock in unopened plastic wrap. Some are apparently used -- they are not wrapped. The list includes: QTY Description 2 6032006204 Rev. F 1-80 GSL-1900 Level Control 1A9 3 6032008100 Rev. B Memory board 1 Spare electronics for a remote control head There are plenty of pictures shown below. Other info: I am in the Seattle area and have a pickup truck and can deliver this system within a reasonable distance. Shipping would be *HUGE* money and not recommended. I have put the transceiver itself on the air and and the receiver works great but I am told that the CW signal chirps and the SSB signal is somewhat distorted. I haven't had the time to look into this. I have not tested or even hooked up the GSL-1900 / GCU-1935 and I have absolutely no idea if it even works. But, all the connectors are there and there is a tube in the socket so it's a question of hooking it all up and seeing what works. It would be a great project but I don't have the time and don't really want to move this to Montana with me. Make me an offer, cash or trade. I'd be pleased to trade for a good communication receiver such as a Harris RF-590. But, it has to be small -- remember, I'm moving! OK, enough of this... Here's the pics. They're huge, prepare to scroll! ![]() The GSB-900DX sitting on top of the GSL-1900. Yup, that's a Sunair microphone! ![]() The rack is on recessed casters and sits about 1/4" off the deck. It rolls very easily on hard surfaces. ![]() Front view. All interconnect cables (or connectors) are included. ![]() The GCU-1935 remote antenna coupler. ![]() Spare NOS boards and a complete rack mount kit for the GSB-9000DX itself, in case you want to also rack mount it... ![]() NOS Spare Circuit Boards -- see text above for description / inventory. ![]() More NOS Spare Circuit Boards -- see text above for description / inventory. ![]() Yet *more* NOS circuit boards. The one not in plastic is apparently not NOS and it's condition is unknown. ![]() Even more spares... Again, if unwrapped then not NOS. ![]() Additional spares, condition unknown, NOT NOS. ![]() Additional spares, condition unknown, NOT NOS. ![]() Additional spares, condition unknown, NOT NOS. Well, the GSB-900 R/U seems to have never been used but who knows. When was the last time you even saw a GSB-900 R/U? Hey, put it in the family room and do your hamming from the Barko-Lounger! Well, sir, that's the end of the pics. If you need more info don't hesitate to contact me. I can provide more pics or whatever. Please, take this off my hands! I don't want to move it to Montana with me! Back to Top |
