GFAARC is a tax exempt Non-profit
organization.
All donations
are tax deductible and greatly appreciated!
The Great
Falls Area Amateur Radio Club (GFAARC) is established to further the exchange of
information and cooperation between members, to promote radio knowledge, fraternalism and
individual operating efficiency, and to so conduct amateur radio in the community.
GFAARC
meets on the first Monday of each month at 7:30 P.M. at the Cascade County Sheriff Posse
building located at 2900 6th Street N.W., Great Falls, Montana.
If a
meeting falls on a major holiday the meetings normally held the second Monday that month.
GFAARC
publishes a newsletter on a monthly basis. A subscription is included with club membership
@ $24.00 annually or $12.00 for the newsletter only for persons living outside the Great
Falls area. Amateurs under the age of 19 are granted club membership at no cost. Payment
may be make to the club Treasurer at a monthly meeting or mailed to P.O. BOX 1763,
Great Falls, MT 59403.
Inputs for
the newsletter should be provided to the editor as soon as possible but no later than 10
days before the next club meeting. Articles may be on floppy diskette for use in Microsoft
Works or DOS text (ASCII) format. Articles may be sent via the internet to the editor Doug Labough WQ7B.
The
newsletter is printed by the New
Directions Center each month, a facility for chronically mentally ill. The newsletter
is sent via first class mail.
One half of
each club membership is used to maintain GFAARC repeater operations.
