The trouble I see with this is the length of the lines is still not known. It seems like each digital sound card program has it's own way of breaking (or not) lines of text up when sending. I have found that Digipan 1.2 will start to transmit a file that has all the text on one long line but will not complete sending it if it is too long. Stream seems to work fine. I also found that different e-mail programs will break the lines at different lengths. What is needed is some standard way of breaking up lines so it's the same on all. I'm not really sure what the answer is. What keeps happening is I run a crc check on a file but the results will vary depending on how it was chopped up. Perhaps the input file needs to be stripped of all line feeds and returns then broke up into sections by some byte size. I'm not sure how the file could be put back to together. It is a complex problem and if I think of something that might work I will let you know. Thanks for the work and hopefully we can sort out the line length problem.
