We are fortunate on qsl.net that we all have one thing in common. Ham Radio. There is something for everyone. Some like SSB, Some like CW, PACKET, SSTV, and Some like to restore old equipment and operate AM. and build Antennas, operate Low Frequencies, High Frequencies, Ultra high Frequencies, Run Low Power and even RTTY... June, of this year, will be 50 years of very active hamming.. I Have done most all of the above, including overseas phone patching, and the last 13 years on Amtor and Pactor. Here in Southern California we have many other Hobbies and Activities. So when the Sun goes down and 20 meter Pactor Propagation shortens to 40 or 75 meters, we have the choice of Sharing that part of our Ham Activities with Round and Square Dancing..If any of you share your time with Round or Square Dancing...Send Email so that we can make a list and have one more thing in Common.....and besides I am getting a big Kick out of Learning HTML's Best Regards and please Email Comments........SK

I met Tom over 15 years ago When he lived here in Southern California, In Torrance. We were talking on 40 mtr phone band and discovered we had another hobby that is not to well Known....Pigeon Racing.... Tom and I shared this common interest on 2 mtr simplex across the Los Angeles basin. We also, with VIC20's got on RTTY then upgraded to Commadore 64's and went to amtor. We did this along with the Pigeon Raceing that usually took place on Sunday and the longer races on Saturday. We both since then have abandoned the Pigeon racing because of the increase of Automobile traffic was making it impossible to train the pigeons 50 miles every morning and get to work in time.. those were good years ..Now Tom after retiring, moved back to his home place and now he and Elva his XYL are living in West Virginia. Photo was sent as an email attachment from Tom

I Met Bill, Back in the Early 1980's, Late at nite, on 2 mtrs FM Simplex. 144.470. Bill worked nites for the Los Angeles Examineer News Paper, On his nite off we stayed up and played with Vic 20 and Commodore 64, getting into packet and Amtor. Bill did not like Amtor. When Pactor came out, this mode was made for him. He and I had daily skeds for several years after he was forced to leave California because The Examineer Closed and Bill had to seek job opportunities elseware, ending up in Wacco, Texas. Still working Nites. The last few years we have devoted most of our time on the Internet and bigger and better computers. When I need help with the computer, I call him. This Picture was scanned by Bill and email attachment to me......
